British comedian-turned-travel-show-host-turned-Royal-Geographical-Society-head-honcho Michael Palin recently visited Hong Kong, where he spoke at the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents' Club.

Palin has hosted eight travel programmes for the BBC, which have taken him around the world, from pole to pole, across the Sahara, through the Himalayas, and into deepest, darkest Europe, among other places. His last programme aired in 2008, and he shared with the FCC audience his plans to start work on a new series soon.

A veteran of the classic British comedy troupe Monty Python's Flying Circus, Palin also told the audience of his favorite Python sketch, the Fish-Slapping Dance (view the original Python clip here).

Palin's speech at the FCC, entitled "Traveling On Television", was filmed by APV as part of our internship programme. It can be watched in four parts on YouTube:  Part 1/4Part 2/4. Part 3/4. Part 4/4.
