The original video footage was shot on blue screen, and literally everything else -- including, at one point, most of Adrian's torso! -- was created by the APV's 3-D animator Andrea Rascaglia.   This video shows the steps Andrea went through to create these 3-D visual effects, with before, during, and after views.
