| | Luxury car manufacturer Audi put together a unique event to mark the launch of their new R8 sports car in Singapore by arranging to drive it down Singapore's Orchard Road alongside three legendary racing cars - a 1930s Grand Prix winner, a winning rally car and the car that won all five of the Le Mans 24-hour race that it competed in.
A great set of pictures for television. The trouble was that for safety reasons the authories would only allow limited access for television crews to film the cars speeding down Singapore's main shopping street. The solution - to allow APV to take exclusive video from a film crew vehicle alongside the four sporty cars and then edit and distribute the pictures to all the television stations who requested it. And the result: broadcasters were happy to receive the pictures and Audi got their story out to millions of viewers in Asia.
APV were involved in a a race of a different kind when they provided films crews, edit facilities and satellite playout facilities to provide overseas broadcasters with footage from Standard Chartered Bank's Greatest Race on Earth marathon event. APV also produced a video on the event for internal viewing by bank staff around the region.
