Commissioned by Jack Morton Worldwide, APV co-produced a pre-Olympic Games video event for the Dow Chemical Company, one of the official Olympic games sponsors.  Directed by Hamdani Milas, the video was divided into 6 short films highlighting the traditional culture of China as well as the emerging modern Chinese society.  What made this project very special for APV was the projection technology used.  APV editor Alex Wilson and graphic designer Andrea Rascaglia needed to create and edit all elements of the video so that they could be split and synchronized to run on 4 simultaneous projectors shown on a custom backdrop 4 meters high by 18 meters wide (resolution of 4900x1080 pixels).  This was the first 4k-pixel project on-lined in house at APV using Apple Motion.  Audio for this project was 5:1 surround, composed, recorded and mixed by Schtung Music, Hong Kong.  Additionally, APV created a small iPod-ready version of the film that was given away at the event.

Produced by APV's Maggie Choy, the entire project was a huge success.  Lucille Essey, Creative Director said: "I cannot thank APV enough for their support, commitment and outstanding delivery on this project.  APV and the team assembled for this project, including Hamdani Milas, Alex Wilson, Andrea Rascaglia, May Woo, Daniel Clarke and others, were a big part of that success."
